Excursion to the city of
PULA

In front of the roman amphitheater (Arena) in the center of the city of Pula.
  After the visit to the observatory we visited the amphitheater, and the famous Archeological Museum of Istra in Pula.

Pola Observatory MPC#  538

On the roof of the old Austro-Ungarian war-marine observatory of Pola (Pula).
  Situated on the top of Monte Zaro hill the observatory was visible from a big part of the harbor, but for better visibility the time ball was placed on the nearby hill and triggered electrically  from the observatory.

From that place Johan Palisa discovered visualy 28 asteroids.
