Herbert Raab works as a software developer in Linz, Austria. He is author of Astrometrica, a software for astrometric data reduction of CCD-images. He works on minor planets and comets and is also interested in the geology of impact structures. Furthermore, he is president of the Linzer Astronomische Gemeinschat, a club of amateur astronomers with about 200 members.
