MAIN TOPIC:
"Small Bodies of the Solar System"

....... The main research topic at Visnjan Observatory is the study of the small bodies of the Solar System. Besides looking for new objects, we also keep track of known bodies and contribute in determining the orbits of the very important new discovered objects from the NEO Confirmation page.
The interaction of meteors wit the high atmosphere is a continuation of a program that last 20 years now.
Technical research areas include telescope construction, automatization technology, data analysis, storage software and future "planetary rovers" design and constructions.

The  NEO - Near Eartg Object one of the object that represent the main workshop topics.

The  NEO - Near Eartg Object 2003 QA discovered by participants during the VSA 2003.

  FAQ-s and info?

Is it expensive?
No! We suppose that the sponsors will cover the majority of expenses for the Croatian students, so the participation fee for them would be 800 kunas (~110 EURO). For students from abroad of 2000 Kn (approx. 220 EURO)?
