 Beside group work and practical work, all participants will have lectures together. Two excursions are planned, one in the Istrian Country Park and the other in sinchrotron Elettra (Center for nuclear research).At the end of the school, all relevant results will be presented in the magazine Acta Astronomica Visnianiensis, in other professional magazines and on the Web.The official languages are Croatian and English. There are 18 participants (half of them with no astronomical experience), a few students and some demonstrators.

ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD

 All participants are situated in bedrooms inside a special building in Višnjan. articipants bring with them all objects of personal hygiene. A nearby elementary school’s kitchen will take care of the food. If participants do not find sponsors, they pay the accommodation and travel to and from Višnjan.

DAY AND NIGHT SCHEDULE

  • 12 - 13 - getting up and lunch
  • 13 - 16 - group work
  • 16 - 18 - lectures
  • 18 - 20 - dinner and resting
  • 20 - 22 - preparation and departure to observation sites
  • 22 - 24 - observations
  • 24 - 01 - pause - breakfast
  • 01 - 04 - observations
  • 04 - 05 - return and sleeping

Day schedule will be adapted in the time of excursions. Groups that don’t have direct observations will observe meteors in their free time.
