You
probably know that speed of light is somewhere about
300 000 km/s. But have you ever wondered how fast this
really is ? How would it look like if you would pass
next to Earth traveling at that speed ?
From
now on, you'll be a photon that just got out of the
Sun. You'll be travelling at the speed of... well you
know how fast. But, you will also see how a word "fast"
is relative as we will go on a larger scale in each
example.
If
you ask me how accurate it is, i answer, it is as accurate
as your computer can play 320x240 avi movie at 24 fps.
All these animations have been carefully calculated.
All objects are accurate, and what is the most important,
the view is accurate and it represents what you would
see with your naked eye, if you would be there (stars
are excluded from this statement, because there are
no stars in the movie - to reduce the file size).
