"Giovanni Sostero, born on March 18, 1964 under the sign of the Dragon. He has been interested on astronomy since the age of 10, when he enjoyed his first book about stars. At the age of 12 he started
playing with a small scope, continuing since then on (only the sizes are changed). He is graduated in aerospace engineering, and during daytime he is working at the Optics Laboratory of "Elettra" the Italian
synchrotron radiation source. Overnight he is operating the telescopes at the Remanzacco observatory, an public facility located in north-east Italy. His interest in astronomy is mainly due to cataclismic variables and
comets. In case of cloudy nights, you will probably meet him at the "Bridge House", a local Irish pub sponsored substantially by Giovanni's montly salary." The same page but niciest image |
